Google is testing a new “Speak to a live representative” feature that lets the company’s software call a business on your behalf, navigate through its phone tree, wait on hold, and then have a real human being speak to you. Allows you to be notified when it is available. Talk to. test, which is now available as a Find Labs Experimental FacilityViewed by x user sterling,
As 9to5GooGLE NotesThis feature looks pretty much the same Pixel’s “Hold For Me,” But with some major advantages. First, it’s available on all phones instead of just pixel 3 and newer, And second, “Speak to a live representative” actually offers to actively call a business on your behalf, not something you enable once you’ve called and placed on hold.
You access the feature by searching for a company’s customer support number, at which point Google will display a “Request a call” button if the company is supported, 9to5Google Report. Supported businesses include a selection of US airlines, telecoms, retailers, insurance and other service companies. You choose the reason for your call, and Google will provide you with an SMS update on the progress of the call before you place a call when a representative is available to talk to you.
The experimental feature is available in the US through the Google app on iOS and Android, as well as Chrome desktop. 9to5Google notes.
