Lionsgate is trying to get Limit Movies Eli Roth has been involved with the project since 2015. in 2020, After waiting longer than expected and a series of reshoots With Tim Miller at the helm, the movie is a real thing, and it’s coming out in August. However, the first trailer is now here:
Limit The games concern a rotating quartet of Vault Hunters who arrive on the planet Pandora in search of a mythical Vault (and shoot down various bandits and robots). The film features many of the characters from the first two games, but is placed in a very non-game setup: Cate Blanchett’s Lilith She has powerful siren abilities and returns to Pandora to rescue Edgar Ramirez’s daughter of Atlas. He doesn’t like being there, but it’s not long before he’s joined by soldier Roland (Kevin Hart), mad scientist Tannis (Jamie Lee Curtis), bruiser Craig (Florian Munteau), and demolitions expert Tiny Tina (Ariana Greenblatt). Are. The group will (presumably) proceed to find every bandit or robot and shoot them in the face with a variety of guns. Oh, and Claptrap (Jack Black) is there too.
Gearbox’s games are known for having colorful (and talkative) characters, and the trailer largely delivers on that front. It’s as shamelessly goofy as games often are, but it’s missing something: a ridiculous arsenal of guns! We do see Some? weapon, but it’s one of the signatures of the series, and it feels wrong not to see it fully featured here. Maybe they’re saving it for another trailer, with the cast taking two minutes to sort out the poor UI before they change gears.
Speaking of that cast, new character posters were released along with the trailer. feast your eyes!
